Central Tech Ambassadors

The Ambassadors’ Leadership Class identifies high school students with the desire, experience and characteristics to become leaders at Central Tech, in their communities and as Central Tech ambassadors. Activities to enhance these qualities take place during the school year and include, but are not limited to, team-building activities (ropes course), meetings with legislators in their communities and at the State Capitol, and community service projects. Interested students apply in September and are selected during the 1st nine-week period.

Participation

Ten Student Ambassadors were selected to attend the National Technical Honor Society Leadership Conference in the fall. Student Ambassadors assist with the Career Connection 8th Grade Program, with the Central Tech Showcase, and with Open House. Student Ambassadors have also assisted with other activities such as Christmas Parades, Career Fairs for Elementary Schools, and Central Tech booths at special events such as the Salvation Army Fall Festival.

Why Become An Ambassador

Student Ambassadors are held in high esteem and may request letters of recommendation for scholarships or jobs at any time from Central Tech Administrators. The recognition of being a Student Ambassador should be included on any resume.
