POSITION: Part-Time Truck Driver Training Instructor


CAMPUS: Drumright


PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist with the daily operations of Transportation and Safety Education by being responsible for instruction, safety and other duties as required.


RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Transportation and Safety Education


SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to counsel and instruct students in a professional manner and appearance; proficient in skills as they relate to operations of over-the-road, diesel-powered Class 8 commercial vehicles. Must possess and maintain an Oklahoma driver's license.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years tractor-trailer, over-the-road driving experience. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations relating to the trucking industry. Positive instructional experience preferred.


EDUCATION: HS diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To repair and maintain vehicles for the Truck Driver Training program and other vehicles as schedule allows.


RESPONSIBLE TO: Transportation Director


SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of diesel mechanics. Career Tech training helpful. Must have and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver's license and have the ability to operate a 4-wheel vehicle in order to travel to job sites and meetings.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience in diesel mechanics helpful.


EDUCATION: HS diploma or GED required. Must have CDL Class A license or the ability to obtain one.
