UNARMED SECURITY - PHASE I & II

Phase I teaches how to interpret the Oklahoma Security Act, administer first aid, operate fire extinguishers, write field notes and reports, and interpret legal powers. Phase II will instruct you in public relations, communications, performing fixed post duties, patrolling, investigating security incidents, and terrorism awareness.

PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR - PHASE III

Course materials cover client responsibilities, private investigator laws, complying with the Fair Credit Act, conducting investigations and surveillance, and locating and communicating information.

FIREARMS TRAINING - PHASE IV

Students receive instruction in handgun safety, nomenclature and maintenance, fundamentals of marksmanship, handgun handling skills, handgun shooting positions, range procedures and legal issues. Must complete an MMPI evaluation before enrollment.

TASER - PHASE IV

The program is designed to provide training on the use of TASER brand conducted electrical weapons and is geared toward CLEET security officers, private investigators, and bail enforcers. Explore force options and decision-making tactics, medical issues, maintenance, and personal safety in addition to hands-on experience with a MILO range simulator. Prerequisites: CLEET Phase I & II.

OC PEPPER SPRAY - PHASE IV

This course focuses on the proper deployment of Oleoresin Capsicum, OC, pepper spray. Unlike many classes the information provided is direct from the manufacturer of the products used. Topics included: tactical considerations, decontamination/first aid, protective gear, criminal and civil liabilities, and policies and procedures. Prerequisites: CLEET Phase I & II.

BAIL ENFORCER TRAINING - PHASE V

Bail Enforcement agents recover defendants who have failed to appear in court after undertaking a bail bond contract. Prerequisites: CLEET Phases I, II, & III

COURTROOM PROCEDURES

As a professional security officer or private investigator it is likely that you will eventually be required to testify in court. Central Tech's Security Instructors have personally testified in city, district (state), and federal courts as well as various civil proceedings. In this class, you will receive CLEET Security CEU's and learn first-hand the importance of being properly prepared to testify in front of a judge or jury.

SECURITY PATROL TACTICS

As a security officer, your employer expects you to provide the highest level of service to the client. As part of your responsibilities you are expected to patrol your post or be responsible for patrolling several posts during the course of a shift. Your patrol may be conducted on foot, or in a vehicle and it is important to understand how to safely and effectively patrol. Central Tech's Security Instructors are CLEET certified police officers and have many years of experience in patrolling. In this three-hour CLEET Security CEU class you will learn effective patrolling skills that will make you a more complete security officer.

Security & Private Investigator Career Track

Firearms Training: After completion of Phases I,II and IV you can become an armed security guard.
        Armed Private Investigator: Complete phases I, II, III & IV you can become an armed private investigator.
        Bail Enforcer: Complete phases I-IV to enroll in Phase  V to become an armed bail enforcer. For unarmed bail enforcer, phase IV not required.
        Private Investigator: Private Investigators observe, inquire and examines for the purpose of obtaining information.
        Unarmed Security: After completion you are eligible to test for CLEET certification.
