Financial Aid & Scholarships Available At Central Tech
Financial Aid is available at Central Tech to provide assistance to students who, without such aid, would not be able to attend school. Financial assistance is offered in the form of grants, part-time employment, scholarships, and other federally funded programs for which students with financial need may be eligible.

The CHOICES Scholarship is a tuition waiver for up to $1575. How do I qualify?
It’s as easy as 1-2-3
- 1) Graduate from a high school or home school in the Central Tech district.
- 2) Show proof of graduation (transcript).
- 3) Use the tuition waiver within two years of graduation.
Central Tech Foundation Scholarships - Assistance is available for the purpose of meeting emergencies which may include, but not be limited to replacing eye glasses; transportation costs; medical emergencies; dental assistance; child care; clothing; assistance with utilities; supplies and/or tuition if students does not qualify for other assistance; assistance with a variety of family emergencies requiring immediate financial assistance; other situations presented which are deemed appropriate by the Administration and/or the Board of Central Tech Foundation, Inc. The fund is established to administer assistance to Central Tech students enrolled in regular, full-time vocational programs. Only students residing in Central Tech area district qualify for this assistance. The Superintendent of Central Tech has sole authority to review applications for assistance and authorize issuance of said scholarships, with formal approval of the Central Tech Foundation at the first regular or special meeting following the issuance of the financial assistance.
Tarr-Shaw Foundation - The Tarr-Shaw Foundation provides assistance to Central Tech students living in the Drumright, Shamrock, Olive, and Oilton communities.
Otha Grimes/Francis Tuttle Scholarship - This scholarship is reserved for deserving adult students who may not qualify for other scholarships or student assistance programs. They are awarded more on the basis of need and commitment rather than on good grades alone. The number of scholarships and the dollar amounts may vary with the availability of foundation funds and with the special needs reflected among the applications. Physician Manpower Scholarship - The Nursing Student Assistance Program provides assistance to Oklahoma nursing students pursuing LPN, ADN, BSN, or MSN degrees and who are interested in practicing nursing in Oklahoma communities, with emphasis placed on rural or smaller communities.
