Certified Medication Aide - Sapulpa
The Certified Medicaiton Aide program is a 48hour training course which includes 16 clinical hours designed for Certified Nurse Aides involved with the administration or distribution of medicaitons to residents or clients in a hospital, long term care facility, a facility for the developmentally disabled, residential care home or adult day care facility. This course is approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
State Department of Health Prequisites:
- You must be at least 18 years of age
- You must have a high school diploma or GED
- You must have a current OSDH Nurse Aide license with no abuse notations.
- Your Nurse Aide license must be in Long Term Care, Home Health, or Developmentally Disabled
- You must have at least six full months experience working as a certified nurse aide.
- You must have the physical and mental capability to perform the duties of a certified medication aide.
