Local Prescribed Burn Meeting

The Creek County Prescribed Burn Association will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, July 28 at 6:30pm at the Central Tech Business Center located at 201 North Settle Drive in Drumright.

The meeting will cover the association’s activities over the last 18 months, equipment availability, burn plan status, as well as, an update of what is happening at the state level with the Oklahoma Prescribed Burn Association.

Guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the land management practice of prescribed burning, which is an effective way to rejuvenate native grasses, restore wildlife habitat, and control eastern red cedar. There is no cost to attend the meeting. We welcome new memberships for an annual fee of $25.00.
