Ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the delicious world of sourdough? Whether you’re a total beginner or you’ve had a few flops trying to tame wild yeast, this hands-on class is the perfect place to start your sourdough journey with confidence – and a little flour on your shirt!
In this fun and informative class, you’ll:
- Learn the basics of sourdough science and what makes it so magical
- Mix your very own dough in class to take home and bake
- Practice shaping techniques on pre-prepared dough (no pressure!)
- Troubleshoot common sourdough issues so you can bake with confidence
- Explore different baking methods to find what works best for you
- Take home your own bubbly starter – your new kitchen pet!
You’ll also receive a comprehensive guide covering everything we go over in class, so you’re never left guessing. You’ll leave with:
- A loaf you mixed, ready to bake at home
- A healthy sourdough starter
- The mixing bowl and rubber spatula you used in class
- A whole lot of sourdough confidence!
Recommended for home: A digital kitchen scale (nothing fancy – just something to help you measure in grams like a pro).
